Lea Michele stars on “Glee,” and two episodes of Glee were directed by Elodie Keene, who also directed an episode (“Haunted”) of Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse.”

Thank you, Rick!

Six Degrees of Joss Whedon Separation: Challenge 13

Hello all!  This is Lexie, coming to you with a new challenge!

@sarawho managed to solve the connection between Teri Hatcher and Joss Whedon, so congrats!  If you would like to see the solution, feel free to look back at old posts; it’s the most recent one before this one.

Today’s challenge, in honor of the show that everybody seems to love, is to connect Lea Michele to Joss Whedon.

BUT…

Joss directing an upcoming episode of Glee doesn’t count (at least not in my book) because it has not happened yet.  EVen though he’s scheduled to, anything may happen.

So good luck all!

I’m new at this so I’m not sure exactly how it works but Teri Hatcher stars on Desperate Housewives which Nathan Fillion guest starred on, and Nathan Fillion was in Firefly and Dr. Horrible both created by Joss Whedon.

Yay! Congrats, sarawho! You’re more than welcome to submit a challenge to us!

Happy Hunting, Kylie :]

OHAITHAR.  It’s nice to see you all again.  It’s been a while, hasn’t it?  My cohorts and I (Lexie) have failed to post a new challenge for ages, and I decided it was time to start this up again.  That and I’m incredibly bored because nobody back in the states is awake yet.

So.  Are you ready for challenge 12?

Find a connection between Joss Whedon and Teri Hatcher (and no, her growing up in Sunnyvale, California doesn’t count).  Good luck, all!

This one is really easy.

Matthew Fox to Joss Whedon.

1. Matthew Fox stars in Lost on which both Drew Goddard and David Fury were writers.

2. Drew Goddard and David Fury also wrote for Buffy and Angel.

(And if you want me to get fancy, Brian K. Vaughn also wrote for Lost and he and Joss “traded” comics when Brian wrote a few issues of Buffy Season 8 and Joss picked up Runaways.)

(via somuchpotential)

Very impressive! :D And of course we want you to get fancy!  You should definitely submit the 12th challenge to us all :)

Best, Ashley

NEXT CHALLENGE:

Matthew Fox to Joss Whedon.

(Sorry it has taken so long for a new challenge.  I wrongly assumed that Ashley or Kylie would update it with a new one because I did it last time.  Oh well, we are back, and here to stay.)

Ashley’s challenge (number 9) was to find a connection between Tom Selleck and Joss Whedon.  Since nobody has stepped up to the plate, I’ll take the answer into my own hands.

1.  Tom Selleck had a recurring role in Friends as Monica’s boyfriend/ex-boyfriend, which also starred Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe.

2.  Lisa Kudrow starred in the movie P.S. I Love You as Denise Hennessey, which James Marsters was also in.

3.  James Marsters played the character Spike on hit TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, created by Joss Whedon.

NEXT CHALLENGE:  Jason Bateman to Joss Whedon.
